Button battery models have many naming rules, mainly composed of English letters and numbers. The first English letters indicate the chemical power source properties, and the suffix four Arabic numerals indicate the battery size. The first two numbers indicate the diameter, and the last two numbers indicate the thickness.<\/p>\n

Theoretical introduction to the naming of button battery models and specifications:<\/p>\n

  1. CR button battery models: Commonly used are CR2016, CR2032, and CR2025, where CR indicates lithium manganese dioxide battery, and the last four digits indicate the size. For example, CR2032 refers to a 3V button battery with a diameter of 20mm and a height of 3.2mm.<\/li>\n
  2. Zinc-silver oxide battery: The size of the silver oxide battery can be made the same as that of the alkaline zinc-manganese button battery, but the zinc-silver oxide battery has a relatively higher voltage platform and a more stable working voltage. Its naming method is basically the same as the LR series, such as “SR44” for zinc-silver oxide battery, which is the size of both LR44 and AG13. At first, AG13 referred to SR44, but now it sometimes refers to LR44 and sometimes to SR44. Because zinc-silver oxide batteries are more expensive than alkaline zinc-manganese batteries, the latter have replaced part of the former’s market.<\/li>\n
  3. AG series button battery models: AG batteries are essentially alkaline zinc-manganese batteries, with 14 product series from AG0 to AG13, but in the IEC standard, they are still marked in the same way as alkaline batteries, with the letters “LR”, where L stands for alkaline and R stands for round.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Japanese standard is marked as “L” followed by three or four digits. If it is followed by three digits, the first digit represents the diameter (mm) in integers; if it is followed by four digits, the first two digits represent the diameter (mm) in integers; the last two digits are 1\/10 of the height (mm).<\/p>\n

    For example, the IEC logo of the AG13 button battery is LR44, and the Japanese logo is L1154. Because the design diameter of this battery is 11.6mm and the height is 5.4mm, the diameter is taken as an integer “11”, and 1\/10 of “54” represents the height of 5.4mm.<\/p>\n

    1. In the button battery family, there are also zinc-air batteries and mercury batteries (also called mercury batteries). Rechargeable batteries also have LIR, ML, and LV series. These button battery models are just different battery systems represented by English, and the size is also represented by four digits. For example, LIR3032 represents a lithium-ion battery with a working voltage of 3.6V, a diameter of 20mm, and a height of 3.2mm. ML2032 and LV2032 represent the same battery size, but they represent lithium manganese batteries and lithium vanadium batteries respectively.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
