Two identical batteries with the same voltage will charge each other when connected in parallel. Will they charge each other or will there be current between them?

Will two sets of batteries in parallel charge each other? If one set of batteries has a higher voltage, the battery with a higher voltage will charge the battery with a lower voltage. This is because there is a potential difference between the two battery sets. The current will flow from the high potential to the low potential, that is, charging the battery. However, the internal resistance of the battery is very small, and the charging current will be very large, which may burn the battery set being charged.

Ordinary batteries have internal resistance. If they are connected in parallel, there may also be a large current in the battery circuit, which is manifested as the effect of the high-voltage battery charging the low-voltage battery. Not all batteries can be charged. Ordinary batteries mainly output current and cannot input current, that is, charge. The current size depends on the voltage difference and internal resistance of the two batteries. Excessive current will cause the battery to heat up, damage the battery, and may explode.

It is possible to connect rechargeable batteries in parallel, because even if there is a voltage difference between the two batteries, it is equivalent to one battery charging another battery. But you must pay attention to the charging current.

Theoretically, batteries can be used in parallel. In fact, the parameters of the same battery may not be the same. In this way, after parallel connection, current will be generated until the current is zero. This is static, but if the load is dynamic and the change is relatively large, it is possible that for the external circuit, the internal circuit will also have current, and the response time will definitely be different. The more parallel numbers, the more unstable. If the battery is made up of many batteries in parallel, this is an extremely irresponsible practice.

Parallel operation is external power supply, mutual charging and power supply are simply not possible, and energy conservation. However, the voltage levels are different before parallel connection, and the high voltage will charge the low voltage. Or during operation, the voltage drop will charge the high voltage drop. That is, the voltage of the battery with a large internal resistance decreases faster, and the voltage of the battery with a small internal resistance decreases slower. As a result, the output voltage of the former is lower than that of the latter, causing internal consumption, so the battery packs in parallel cannot charge each other.
